1. Information We Collect
Account Information
This may include:
- email address;
- username;
- account identifiers;
- authentication information;
- account creation date;
- profile information;
- subscription tier;
- XP, levels, badges, and StatCoin balance.
Passwords are handled through our authentication provider and are not stored by StatRival in readable form.
Age and Eligibility Information
We may collect:
- date of birth;
- age group;
- consent status;
- parental or guardian email address when consent is required;
- records relating to parental-consent requests and responses.
We use this information to apply age-related restrictions and consent requirements.
Contest and Sports Activity
We collect information about activity within StatRival, including:
- contests entered;
- predictions and selections;

- scores;
- rankings;
- contest history;
- progression;
- badges;
- rewards; and
- interactions with Game Intel and related features where tracked.
Subscription and Purchase Information
When you purchase a subscription through Apple or Google, the applicable app store processes your payment information.
StatRival may receive subscription-related information such as:

- subscription status;
- renewal or expiration state;
- app-store transaction or customer identifiers; and
- entitlement information.
We use RevenueCat to help manage subscription entitlements.
StatRival does not receive your full credit-card number from Apple or Google.
Technical and Usage Information
We may collect technical information necessary to operate and secure the Service, such as:
- device or platform information;
- app version;
- IP address where provided through infrastructure logs;
- authentication/session information;
- error information;
- timestamps;
- API requests;
- security events; and
- diagnostic information.
2. How We Use Information

- authenticate users;
- operate contests and predictions;
- lock picks at applicable deadlines;
- calculate scores and rankings;
- provide leaderboards;
- award XP, badges, and other progression;
- administer subscriptions and entitlements;
- provide Game Intel;

- prevent fraud, abuse, cheating, bots, and unauthorized access;
- enforce our Terms;
- investigate errors and security incidents;
- maintain and improve the Service;
- comply with legal obligations; and

3. Children and Minors
StatRival uses age information to determine whether a user requires additional consent or restrictions.
If we have actual knowledge that personal information is being collected from a child under 13 in circumstances covered by COPPA, applicable notice and verifiable-parental-consent requirements apply.
Where StatRival requires parental or guardian consent, the account may remain restricted until valid consent is received.
A parent or guardian may contact us regarding a minor’s information, consent status, or deletion request.
We do not knowingly permit minors to bypass required consent controls.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information in exchange for money.
We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate StatRival, including providers of:
- cloud hosting and databases;
- authentication;
- sports data;
- weather information;
- subscription management;
- transactional email;
- app-store billing;
- security and infrastructure services.
These providers receive information only as reasonably necessary to perform their services or as otherwise permitted by law.
We may also disclose information:

- to protect users, StatRival, or others;

5. Service Providers
StatRival currently uses or may use providers including:
Supabase
Supabase provides database, authentication, authorization, and related backend services.
RevenueCat
RevenueCat assists with subscription status and entitlements.
Apple and Google
Apple App Store and Google Play may process purchases and subscriptions according to their own privacy policies and terms.
Resend
Resend is used for transactional email, including parental-consent communications.
Sports Data Providers
Sports-data providers may supply schedules, scores, injuries, team information, statistics, and other sports information used by StatRival.
WeatherAPI
WeatherAPI may provide football weather information used within Game Intel.
6. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- operate your account;
- provide the Service;
- maintain contest records;
- maintain security and fraud-prevention records;
- comply with tax, accounting, billing, or legal obligations;
- resolve disputes; and
- enforce agreements.
Retention periods may vary by information type.
When an account is deleted, StatRival deletes or de-identifies associated personal information except where retention is legally required or reasonably necessary for legitimate purposes such as fraud prevention, security, financial records, dispute resolution, or regulatory compliance.
7. Account Deletion
You may initiate deletion of your StatRival account from within the app through the account settings.
Deletion may remove account data including profile information, contest-entry associations, picks, badges, subscription mappings, and other account-linked information according to our deletion process and applicable retention requirements.
Certain non-identifying or legally required records may remain.
8. Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and loss.
Our backend uses database access controls, role-based permissions, and row-level security where appropriate.
No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal information, which may include the right to:
- request access;
- request correction;
- request deletion;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- object to or restrict certain processing; or
- receive information about our privacy practices.
We may verify your identity before responding.
Parents or guardians may exercise applicable rights relating to information collected from their children.
